Happy 10th Anniversary, Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

In one shot! Actually my blog's anniversary was in October but heck I really don't have time to do a proper blog post for it! Really can't believe how time flies and all my blog entries throughout all these years just keep on accumulating and here I am, typing this blog post, feeling grateful for able to keep my blog running for 10 freaking years! Finally there's something I can keep doing without quitting lol (bucket list crossed!)

Talking about feeling grateful, what can be more expressive than handmade greeting cards to show your love ones how much you cherish their existence in your life? I like handcrafted gifts with personal touch, I made my parents cards and friends birthday cards, and I hope they feel the love I have for them from the bottom of my heart.

Christmas is just less than a month away, I guess it's a perfect time to start making things with own hands and show love to others. Here are the simple materials I use for making Christmas greetings card. Gosh I really do love Christmas season so much!

Blank greeting card paper
Water Colours
Spangle Sequins
Pencil (not in picture lol)

And that's about it, easy peasy right? Here we go!

Fold card into half

Draw a Christmas tree on the outer side of paper
Make sure the side of the tree are drawn connected at the folding side of the card

Start painting

More colours

Glitter colours are my favourite

Start decorating the tree!

Apply glue at each end of the spangle sequins and glue it to the side of the tree

Add more details

Cut out christmas tree
Remember: Don't cut the folding part as it is connected to keep two pages intact

Last but not least, write your wishes inside the card and voila!

Simple materials, short time period of making, this is the perfect start for something beautiful that warms the heart of your friends and family. I hope you enjoy this simple greeting card making tutorial I've prepared for you in conjunction of my blog's 10th year anniversary and also my favourite season of the year.

Thank you Spotlight Stores for the spangle sequins that inspired me to make this greeting card and decorate with it. Head over to Spotlight stores to get more ideas and sparks your creativity this holiday season!

Probably I should off to prepare tutorial for Chinese New Year greetings card right now. lol.

Happy Halloween

It's Halloween weekend and what are you guys gonna dress up as? Last year was fun when I was invited to a few parties with friends on the Halloween week and it was crazy! I dressed up as both Annabelle and Joker (Heath Ledger version!) and it was epic!

Still remembering all the fun we had last year~

Last year marks the first year I'm celebrating Halloween and I totally went full force on dressing up! However when it comes to this year, I had an early celebration of Halloween with Sunway Lagoon as me and my friends were invited to Nights of Fright 4 this year!

Check out my video of that awesome spooky night. ( The video have to stop halfway because I forgot to press record for the rest of the night really FML.) Well, another good reason for you to explore the fun Sunway Lagoon has installed for you guys so I don't spoil all the fun lol.

(How many spooky characters you saw in the video?)

So here's a full map of the whole team park decorated in Halloween theme gonna be like, you really have to face your fears anytime anywhere as you won't know what awaits you at that corner you're turning into...

Creative pumpkin carvings, pretty inspiring tho

Who's there wailing?

Zombie Apocalypse

This fella actually looks cute tho! hahaha

Met China Emperor in the theme park some more!

Since I'm a big fan of horror and thriller movies, I find it amusing to be in a theme park with ghosts and zombies roaming around, I bet it's gonna be all-time-high if you were to visit Sunway Lagoon this weekend!

Nights of Fright 4 at Sunway Lagoon is priced RM58 per person till 31st of October! Are you ready to face your fears and being tested as how I faced mine and survived?

ISETAN The Japan Store - Fashion

Went to the private preview of ISETAN - The Japan Store and I'm seriously blown away by what this brand new ISETAN had in store for all the people that love Japanese goods! It is seriously insane as I keep on "woah" at every corner and awesome stuff just keep popping up in front of me and never stops!

Took so many photos on that day and I was thinking how should I post these up as over 100+ photos in one post is literally crazy for burdening ones data, so I decided to break them down into sections so it's more easier for both you and me to explore bits and pieces of this whole new ISETAN that is launching on 27th of October 11a.m. onwards!

Fashion department located at both G Floor and 1st Floor of this newly refurbished ISETAN. Its bright, spacious and unique interior design compliments each and every section of the fashion section. Polite shop assistant giving you genuine smile alongside with 90 degree greeting bow, I felt as if I've arrived Japan!

To my surprise, so many awesome brands are included in ISETAN's The Japan Store brand new concept and we no longer have to go to other countries to get these awesome designers stuff anymore. Jean literally listen to all my wows and woahs throughout the fashion department I bet she felt annoyed at some levels lol.

These are the brands that's available in ISETAN:

Yohji Yamamoto

omgomgomgomg hyperventilating*

Comme des Garçons

Yuima Nakazato

I think I just found my dream purse!

Madstore Undercover

Various Japanese designer brand goods:

And then there's this Little Harajuku section that sells all sort of pretty lolita, kawaii, exotic design clothes: Angelic Pretty, Innocent World, Metamorphose, Triple Fortune, Royal Princess Alice, Enchantlic Enchantilly... Reminds me of those good ol'times when I'm fascinated by Gothic and Lolita apparel. Too bad I'm too old for all these T_T

Then there's poison for guys too~

GUNDAM x Mastermind JAPAN Apparel Collaboration

More casual homely feel Japanese brand apparels

my poison as well!

Last but not least:

Who knew Isetan's signature tartan pattern can become products and look as good as other branded goods!

These photos definitely doesn't do the fashion department justice. Me and Jean literally explore each and every corner of ISETAN and I can't help myself but keep thinking I wanna buy this and that, planning how to use up my future salary already lololol. All the imported goods makes me wanna buy them home!

3 hours is definitely not enough even though we're on a private preview session. There are 5 floors and soon to be 6 floors (top floor is gonna be premium dining area), each and every floors are designed according to the four aesthetics senses and divided into five lifestyle. You can see the spirit of Japanese in each of every corner of this brand new store, and that is something delightful to have in our city to improve both our economy as well as the way of life.

It's been a while since my last update. Well, nothing specially happened in particular, I'm just busy catching up with my new job, my life, my health, friends and family members. I guess everyone of us will have this transition period from time to time, and mine so happened to be now.

As I was literally feeling stuck in my life for many aspects, my boss asked me to assist in a photoshoot yesterday and the location that we went kinda make me feel the vastness and beauty of life itself it somewhat soothes me and my soul.

I went on and took some photos then edited them in VSCO mainly preset C1 and F2 filter with some minor adjustments in clarity.

The vastness of this universe is unexplainable with words and how does it we felt so stuck with things are literally so small that we felt our whole world collapsed? Are we so full with ourselves and our doings that we literally can't see anything else other than just us?

These photos merely contain a fraction of how I felt when I was at the location itself, and I hope somehow you too are able feel the beauty in them and may these bring peace to your heart and calm your soul, just like how they did with mine.
